"Creed is totally underrated"

Note: THIS IS NOT MY OPINION -- rather, it is the title of an article Jonah Weiner (the "Pearl Jam sells out" guy) published on Slate today. I am just throwing this out for your consumption/ dissection. Enjoy. Go wild.

All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.

The only thing that made sense to me in this article is this sentence.
Quote:"Along with Limp Bizkit (who made fun of Creed, too), Stapp and Co. are remembered today as poster boys for a turn-of-the-century musical nightmare we're happily past."
Limp Bizkit + Creed = the 2 worst bands EVER!
nickelback is completely offended by that statement.

Same here. Shinedown came up the hard way playing lowly shitty bars in Jacksonville, FL before making it big. I can vouch for them cause I saw them quite a few times and met them a couple times too back in 2001/2002.

Seriously not trying to stir trouble, just sharing my OPINION.
BTW: 311 day, every other year, is one of the greatest shows on earth and this is coming from a monster PJ fan. Oh yea, and 311 hate Creed as that tool singer of theirs got all drunken in their grill one time.
Enjoy your Creed records. Meanwhile, there are a million other bands out there to listen to that don't make shitty nu-rock, and I will indulge in all of them.
maybe next time
I don't understand how anyone could listen to Creed or Bon Jovi with a straight face. I tend to forgive and ignore Pearl Jam's occasional "Jovi-ish" tendencies. Some people revel in it, and will complain and hate if Pearl Jam does anything "too creative". I just don't understand that state of mind. I hope I'm not alone.
