I cannot wait for basketball season to start, any UK fans on here? This is an exciting time to be a UK fan.

    Coach Cal used to be my next door neighbor, so I have now become a UK lover. He is going to get you guys back up at the top in no time.

    If Calipari were to run for Governor of Kentucky, he would win in a landslide. The guy has been absolutely incredible since he signed on as coach...You were his neigbor, eh? Is he as nice in person as he seems?

    There were 1500 fans that were camped out to get Big Blue Madness tickets. Calipari and his son camped out with the fans the night before tickets were given out.

    Yeah he was really nice. It was when he coached the NJ Nets. I have never met anyone so commited to his job as he is.

    Yep and then they'll have to forfeit all the games that they win in those seasons because there will be some sort of major violation that the dictators, I mean the NCAA, will bag them for.

    Don't get me wrong, they will win, but they are making a deal with the devil. My brother in law and sister live in Kentucky so I have to hear them run their yappers on it. It really doesn't register with me because I'm a Tar Heels fan.

    I'm a huge fan of college B-Ball. I played it (D3) and I love it. Much better than the pros.

    Which hopefully won't be 10 or more years down the road!!

    In all honesty, I'm just glad it will be FUN to watch my favorite team play college basketball again. The past 4-5 years have been absolutely DREADFUL to watch.

    Calipari's got some huge expectations to fill. Wildcat fans are not a patient kind. He definitely has some talent coming in, so if the chemistry is good, they have the potential to go far. The only danger in having such a stacked team is "superstar" ego's and ball hogging. He'll need to keep these young men's attitudes in check.
