Are bootleg CDs better quality than FLAC downloads?

Wanted to know if there is a significant difference between the two.
Wanna listen to the San Diego boot now, but dunno if I am sacrificing quality by doing the FLAC download.

    FLAC should = lossless

    Only difference between flac and the cd option is that flac is a compressed lossless audio format. The CD option just gives you a nice disc and package to store the cd in. other than that. the audio content itself is the exact same.

    go for cd. then for personal use only, rip the cd using eac (exact audio copy). extract the wav files & then use flac frontend to create your very own flac files. that's it! :)

    If I took a cd and converted it to Apple lossless, I wouldn't lose much quality, right?
