    If you use Backspacer instead of Enter it wont count your view, you could also use a rearviewmirror, then it wont count either. Maybe it need a little fixin on it :roll:

    When threads were transferred over from the old board the view counts got reset I believe.

    This sounds like a pretty plausable explanation, although I would have thought the database would have kept that count with the thread details, unless of course they changed from a different bbs system the the current one, and that database entry did not neatly match and they discarded it. It could aslo be a thing with cookies. I have not worked with phpbbs for a long time so my guess is as good as yours. Sometimes stuff like this is a mystery to me too. On a joomla upgrade I did on a site with a very big forum, all users posts were reset to zero, even though I the forum software I was using was the same brand - just different versions - but joomla changed the way its database stored information - this could be the case here with dupral and phpbbs.

    Oh and btw, that avatar is a "Bad Apple with filth flowing from his mouth". I can swear on a par with Eddie and given the amount of shit I speak, I thought it was appropriate :lol:
