Question: Why is everyone so sure they are touring Hawaii?

Many many times I've been reading about an early December Hawaii show. Why does there seem to be so much assurance that this is happening? Does anyone have any rumor confirmation? People keep begging the 10C to make the announcement. I'm curious too but what has so many people talking about this as if its a fact?

Let me know if you know. Hate away if you want to do some of that too.

    No Way! It needs to be early december, as I will be on the North Shore from 11/26 to 12/5. Big wave surfing competition.

    At the very earliest, it would have to be new year.

    Tickets for October LA shows went on sale in mid-July.

    They're not going to do early Dec shows w/tickets on sale 6 weeks before.

    The band are spending Christmas in Hawaii and then launching their full-blown world tour in 2010...no specific confirmation of any gigs being played, but they will be vacationing there before the world tour...

    from a respected, legit insider's mouth to my ears, told to me in person just last month....
