Wow - they are systematically kicking the people who bought merch at the shows. I mean i understand small decreases because they aren't paying the venue, but to go from $95 to $52 is really a huge shot to those who bought it.

I'm glad all I bought was the onesie and keychain that they're selling for a lot less online, but now $43 less! lucky me, i suppose.

Sorry bro. I picked up one in SD but its all I got. And I wouldn't dare sell anyone a friggin key chain for 150. I can't believe they are gone. They were there yesterday.

The hoodies appear to be of a different thickness and quality than the ones sold at the show... just to be sorta fair. BUT I don't know if they are 40 less quality. Errr I guess 42 more quality.

That was pretty much a sham selling those thing for 95 at the show.

im a huge Crash hoodies fan, I love the material but this one I didn't get at the show, and even now at $43 less I have to pass as well, I just think its missing stuff ya know?
I wish it said Pearl Jam somewhere or 2009 tour or something like that...

I got my 10 of Clubs hoodie in the mail today though, and it is AWESOME! :D

  • I just want the pinbacks/buttons off the hoodie... those are cool.
    "Mark it 20, Dude."
  • So is the 10c going to give partial refunds to those who did buy it for $95?
This just seems really unfair. There was nothing really special about any of the merch this year and now this?

Where is the 10c Contest winner shirt? THAT is a shirt I want!

Great question. I also thought the merch was pretty "meh" this year. That however was more than made up for with the super dope good shows.

Speaking from a marketing standpoint, it was 95 then because some people will buy anything and everything, no matter what the price.

They are selling it cheaper now to get rid of the inventory they didn't sell then. IDK.. the zipper looks a little jacked in the goods section picture... we shall see what it looks like in person.

I just ordered my SIGG. I never thought I'd spend anywhere near that much for a water bottle but I guess it will be worth it when I don't buy as many bottles of water.

    Amen!

I only bought a tshirt cause a friend back home told me he was going to rip my toungue out if I did not bring back one for him. So I only bought the grey vinyl one.

It was amazing how crazy those booths got. People were throwing 100, 200, even 300 bucks to the table. Nothing is wrong with this, but I thought, what a money making machine. I never experienced something like this at a concert. Well I live in Guatemala, the only thing close to that are people giving away their hard earned money to priests in churches. 10% is it? I don´t know.

I agree with you to a point. I myself will buy almost anything, I'm a sucker when it comes to this stuff but when I saw that hoodie at the merch booth and the price, I was flabbergasted. Paired with the shirts that had little to do with the new album ( Inuit font?) and the HORRIBLE "I saw Pearl Jam" shirt, which let's face it could've been made by a nine year old on Cafe Press. The merch was totally lacking but the shows were stellar and I'd rather have it that way then the other way around.

I think they figured they could get away with it because the other Crash hoodies sold out so fast, but those are awesome, they have front and back designs, say "Pearl Jam" on them and a tour patch at $85 it was steep but I love mine.

Can we get a petition for the contest winner shirt to be made?
  • i got the built to last hoodie. I don't really even know why. I suppose because I was tired of buying the shirts and thought I'd go for something I could wear this fall. I don't know what's going on with their merch lately. I didn't care for my concert posters very much at all. whereas before I was buying all of them I could and would hang them above my dining room table. the ink on the stickers is completely sub par. granted their $1 a pop but it should last longer than a week on my car. I don't even live in the tropics.

I too would appreciate a chance to get my hands on the 10c contest winner shirt. if the 10c isn't going to produce it, let the artist produce it! don't hold her art hostage! that's lame and goes against EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING this band stands for.
oh Ed! what big vinyl you have!

  • This Crash hoodie looks disappointing. Not enough patches and detail on it. It would look better if the patches that are on the hood were on the back of the hoodie instead. Also, as others have already stated...it needs to say "Pearl Jam" and 2009 tour somewhere on it.

I don't mind the lack of advertising and the color is fantastic. It's like some of the other hoodies for sale... you wouldn't know what it 'meant' unless you KNEW what it meant.
  • I think the crash hoodie could be improved if the but the anatomy dummy's torso on the back, So you'd get the whole image reflected on your own body.
