So what's everybody's thought on this? 26 singles over the next year, one released every two weeks. Guarantee you they will make more money this way than by releasing an album.

    It was nothing new when Billy Corgan announced it.............since Ash announced this back in April.........with limited edition 7" to people who want them. Guess Billy liked the idea :D

  • I don't really get this whole "the album format is dead" bull shit, plenty of bands are selling shit loads of records, KOL anyone?

    Nothing beats a really tight, cohesive album. People will still buy into it if it's good. That's the problem with Ash, they're a singles band. I've got a good few of their records, and they're a real nostalgia band for me, but their records just aren't consistent. Who knows, this might work out for them, but I hardly think it's 'the future'.
