The time is right....

to announce an early 2009 Euro tour.

My other half has just been told he's being made redundant too - so that's both of us out of work by the end of December.

Therefore we'll have loads of spare time to do some PJ travelling early next year

Also if you want a travelling photographer and writer to tag along, all you have to do is ask guys!!

i agree! there should be a euro tour in the beginning of the year, then an australian tour in the summer, then an american tour after that! =D that way, lots of people are happy and i wont get to miss them while im in australia!

I love how you Brits say "made redundant". I bought the BBC The Office DVD's and they said it like 2 or 3 times in the first episode before I figured out what they meant. Funny saying...but I guess "laid off" is pretty funny too.

I am really hoping for a 2009 tour in the US (hell, anywhere for that matter!). It would be really cool if they played some shows in venues that are a little more...unexpected? Like when they played the Arlene Schnitzer in Portland. I don't know if I would want them to play smaller venues for tons of dates on the tour, seeing as it is nearly impossible to snatch tickets in time, but a few dates at some cool little venues would definitely be interesting. Just a sad little hope of mine that probably won't end up happening. Oh well....

Well, you've got to make the best of it - and you can travel round Europe pretty cheaply!

It's probably (hopefully - unless I get a serious cash injection) the only time in our lives, pre-retirement, we'll get a significant amount of time off together and I want to make the most of it!

They will tour Australia in Summer, So Ed can make use of our beaches. bad thing is I am planning a trip for Summer 2009/10. So I hope I don't miss them.
