Best webcam messaging software?

We are getting my computer-illiterate parents a webcam so that they can see and talk to our son... My question is, what messaging software is the best? Easiest to use? Best quality? etc... We both have Vista if that makes any difference.

I haven't used any for years, and used to use MSN Messenger and AIM, but both of those had issues. Like I said it was probably 5 years ago, so they may have gotten better.

Thanks!

It's all the same stuff really, you'll have a wizard/guide with everything. It all depends on your internet connection and quality of camera to see how good it is.

    MSN or Skype is fine.

My parents are the least tech-savvy people on the planet and they've managed to figure out Skype.

It's a good program, easy to use and will work on almost any computer.

    Skype for sure.

I loooooove Skype! And for an additional $15 a month I can ring most landlines and mobiles in the world for as long as I want whenever I want! I talk to my overseas PJ friends that way who don't have webcam themselves. 8-)
