Has anyone come across a vinyl storage binder? case logic type, kind of like a binder w/zipper one you put your cd's in, but a 12" or 13" something that can hold maybe 20 records, would love to put my Pearl Jam vinyl in that, a leather one would be cool, or maybe an embossed Pearl Jam logo would be cool too......

i think that might mess your records and sleeves up - I store mine in wood cubes and stack the cubes

I'm in the process of framing my vinyl albums and i'm not sure what to do with the actual records and booklets.
I need a storage spot for them - those 2 links are good options.

The thing that sucks is the No Code vinyl is just a tad bigger than the other albums and doesn't fit into the frame.

Do random record stores sell paper sleeves to store the records in? For example, Yield has a sleeve but the actual yield sign on the sleeve is visible when looking at the album - very similar to backspacer. The brain center square is the actual picture on the sleeve (the cover has the hole in it). So I need to leave the sleeve in and store the record some where else. understand??

    ned storage options / help.

    sorry for rambing.

I want to frame my records but WITH the vinyl, showing the cover, hafl of the sleeve and half of the record, but I'm still designing the frame.

That's what I did just last night! I played "Backspacer," AC/DC's "If You Want Blood You Got It," Sublime's "40 oz To Freedom," and "Yield."

Here are a few options. I use the cardboard ones at the top. They are very sturdy and have lids.

I bought one of these at bed bath & beyond. Thought it was pretty good for only $20 and it can hold a good amount of records.

Could this be the start of a "framed VINYL thread?" I've always toyed with the idea of framing my records, but never made the switch from my other addiction (posters). Any pioneers out there have any pictures to get one going?
  • I am using these for storage, pretty easy to move in case i need to..
