They're using a BJ new song as a sports bumper on TBS. It's generic and awful.

I saw a billboard of it in London today, the only positive thing I could think is that the album cover kind of looks like they're in a sewer! :D

They put out an album a few years ago that was basically country, kind of like Hootie and Jewel and I'm pretty sure Bret Michaels is doing now. So the trend is, start off playing hokey rock, and if it plays itself out, shift on over to country. Your basic country fan loves a catchy tune, no matter the amount of cheese and crap piled on top, as long as it's fun to sing along to. Which is to say it's pop music with a little twang.
  • Who cares if they are back? I wouldn't even know if it wasn't for this post. Isn't this easy to avoid?

The annoying Bon Jovi fans are hard to avoid.
Mainly girls with a crush on Jon Bon Jovi.
    Or party animal guys.

Apparently they're having a documentary on cable about themselves taking up the the airways.

I used to love this band in high school. Granted, it was when Slippery When Wet came out but even still, I can't completely knock them.... they are so intertwined with my HS memories. I got older though, and music taste changes but I still smile a bit if I hear Livin' on a Prayer or Wanted Dead or Alive. Their song "I'll Be There for You" was our Junior prom song.

They are not my taste now, but c'mon.... they were a fun band in the 80's. :)

Not if you're a passionate baseball fan, who begrudgingly tunes in to TBS for the NLCS!!

I usually watch most of the game on mute anyway, so I've been spared the audio of the pre-game Bon Jovi clips. But it is a precarious position: space out for just a second at the end of an inning, and I might be subjected to (gulp) new Bon Jovi...
