Went Paddle boarding yesterday!!

Whoo-hoo!! All exhilerating and wow! So warm (west coast of Canada, but on the east side of Vancouver Island) - no, I don't face west, but facing east here means facing the ocean... 
Anyway, this is the latest I've gone out - in shorts, but a jacket...and is was so beautiful on the water. Got to one spot and the salmon were jumping out of the water - big massive salmon (like 15 + pounds) flying out of the water and landing with a big splash! One almost landed on the board! :shock:
There were also a couple of eagles, a pile of seals and pups and lots and lots of jellyfish, tiny and huge...beautiful!
So later, while my husband was on the board, I decided to clean all the plastic off about 20 feet of beach, and would you believe that I collected a kitchen garbage bag's worth in 20 feet of beach!!? The most alarming thing I found was a gun cartridge.... :!:
And the thing with cleaning the beach - a bunch of people walked by or launched their boats, but nobody said a word. I don't why this should bother me, but it does...Anyway, it was a lovely lovely day on the water and the beach was spiffy when I was done cleaning it....yay!
