I was listening to the Vancouver 9-25-09 bootleg cd's and if you listen to "Got Some" at the 2:03/2:04 point in the track you can hear what sounds like a computer sound like a pop up or alert, how did this happen? In mixing I assume?

  • I hear a "pop" and "squeak" sound coming from Jeff's bass, or possibly a microphone being hit or dropped. I assume this is what you're hearing?

It seems like he was twirling the microphone by the cord and it hit him in the back.
  • tvismyfriend - thanks! that must be what caused the sound. it sure did sound like a noise that you hear on a computer

yeah i heard the pop too...

    on the same subject...

this bootleg simply DID NOT do the show justice. Not sure how to explain it... but like "got some", "unthought known" ... for some reason they sounded WAY better live.
