Odd MTV News Article

Each morning the MTV Newsroom blog runs a different "Wake-Up Video." As today is the 16th anniversary of Vs. (!), they've dedicated this morning's video to Pearl Jam. It's a strange promotional video for "Daughter," that I had never seen before. The article acknowledges just how strange the video, as the band had stopped making videos by that point. I wouldn't have thought that it was an official release except for the fact that it's clearly part of MTV's video archives. Perhaps Sony/Epic used it as a promotional tool. Either way, it's a quick and enjoyable read:

    Yep. Weird. That video is bad.

    Definately too slow moving for the kids these days. I was dying. Can you please scroll those images by a little faster.

    It remind me of, on Entourage when all the agencies are wooing Vincent Chase and have the still pictures of major corporations and then show his picture alongside the logos.

    I first saw it on Youtube last year. Then it was on Music Choice on demand. I thought it was a fan made video at first.
