Han Solo Vs Spock

Who would win in a fight? I was talking about this with a guy I work with most of the day. [And no, neither of us got laid this weekend]

We figured for it to be a fair fight we would have to consider a few different aspects.

1.) Hand to hand combat
2.) Space battle
3.) Armed combat

We figured Spock would take the hand to hand combat....

We figured it's a wash with the space battle, maybe with Han having the edge, but Star Trek universe ships are better than Star Wars universe....

And we figured Han would win with a blaster.

So, would Han's luck and cunning be better than Spock's logic and vulcan nerve pinch?

    I hate Han Solo. I wish I could get the Star Wars trilogy with him and the Ewoks completely taken out.

    Well I'm more of a Star Wars fan but Spock would easily win any battle against Solo.

    i'm with ya. the ass kicker was the han/greedo scene for me. as bad as adding hayden chrisiansen was, it almost understandable and almost appropriate considering the prequels were getting ready to take off.

    han/greedo, garbage. han's character went from being a ruthless smuggler to a lucky bastard.

    It's a bummer because Return of the Jedi would otherwise be my favorite Star Wars movie. I like the Jabba the Hutt stuff and I really like the Emperor/Vader/Luke stuff. But the rest is unbearable.

    Haha, thank you for all the responses. It seems Han would win according to everyone here.

    I think Han shooting and killing Greedo in cold blood gives him the edge. Not to mention that there is a huge cover up conspiracy with the remaster....trying to make Han look like he was defending himself....hah!

    I think if we added 'sidekicks' Han would definitely win. Chewbacca alone could take Spock and Kirk.

    A couple more things to add: Who had more dangerous foot soldier villains? I'll say Spock...Klingons seemed like they posed more of a threat than Stormtroopers ever did.

    Who had the cooler rival? I think Boba Fett is awesome in comparison to Evil Spock, assuming Evil Spock is Spock's rival.

    I also want to add I hate all the remaster stuff added to Star Wars too. Seriously, In Jabba's palace do we need a 3 minute addition of a CGI alien dancing and singing? No, we do not.
