I really like this tune... I thought it was average at first... and the vocals somehow reminded me of a Huey Lewis song... haha... it's amazing how quickly a song can grow and change

anyway... I think the lyrics are pretty great... but this line is a bit puzzling to me...

"I'm not the paper, more like the fold...

cut the crease, put the shit in a hole, yeah."

I'm curious to hear some of your thoughts.

as eddie said, "this song is about absolutely nothing."
i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam
  • Paper, fold ,.....makes me think

It's "put the shit in the whole". So... spread the weed throughout the whole crease of the paper.

Sure ed said "this song is about absolutely nothing"

but it also sounds like a love song about music.

For some reason i think the above lyrics pretty much means...dropt he record on the turntable and crank it up.

FAT joints! with the MILF Weed!!
  • well if you use the "hole" lyrics (as opposed to whole) then i think eddie is calling himself an ass..."i'm not the paper more like the fold" asses have a crack "put the shit on the hole" asshole...

i never bothered with interpreting the song so i don't know about any of it...but that was just a quick analysis of that one lyric...i bet i'm wrong...but hey it sort of makes sense
  • The first time I heard it, it reminded me of 'Feel the Shake' by Jetboy...
And I'm not living this life without you, I'm selfish and clear
And you're not leaving here without me, I don't wanna be without
My best... friend. Wake up, to see you could have it all
  • I keep thinking basketball, but only for these lines, (outside of the name itself):

Cut the crease (cut across the key/paint)
Put the shit in the (w)hole (put ball in hoop).

The vocal melody for the first line of each verse is VERY reminiscent of The Cars "Shake It Up", albeit somewhat sped up.
There's a lot to be said for nowhere...
