Backspacer Radio Play
Out of curiosity, what Backspacer songs are you hearing on the radio, and what kind of stations are playing the album? This assumes folks still listen to the radio, of course. 
In NY I've heard: The Fixer, Amongst the Waves, Unthought Known, Force of Nature.
Stations: 101.9 (rock); 90.7 (non-commercial, AAA); 107.1 (hard to categorize); 91.5 (both on the KEXP-broadcast AM show, and on World Cafe)
A couple notes: The songs are all uplifting, anthemic rockers. Haven't heard any of the ballads.
The Fixer (duh) and Force of Nature seem to be the most-played.
That's a nice cross-section of stations.

Haven't heard any Backspacer songs in Dallas yet so you're not missing anything. They still play Alive and Even Flow more than anything.
