Anyone ever had a data entry job from home?

I see these all the time in the classified ads. Are these legit? Some require a payment for you to register, but has anyone here ever done any of these jobs, (data entry from home) and had it not turn out bad?

Is this legit?

from what i have heard, there are some that are legit.

I've also heard that most are not, and finding the few that are legit is a real pain in the ass.

    good luck.

  • I know there are legitimate ad's like this out there, but the one I responded to seemed very much like a scam. When I called the guy, he kept asking for my personal information even though I told him I only wanted to ask a question about the job. Naturally, I decided to hang up.

If you're required to give out personal information before being hired, or need to pay them any money for any reason (training, materials, or registration)....you're dealing with a scam.

Almost all "work from home" jobs are scams, unless you're already employed and you're employer has you telecommute.
