I'm looking for suggestions of the best albums to try out, from the likes of Zeppelin, The Who, Dylan...absolutely ANYBODY really lol.

    A few years ago some music "experts" got together and made a list of the 1001 best albums you must hear before you die and broke them up by decades starting in the 50's.

    i'm not necessarily talking rock, moreso anything that people generally think is a great piece of music. no opera or classical music though :p

    This has all come about because I just watched Almost Famous again this morning, I think it's quickly becoming my favourite movie. I love the music playing throughout, just downloaded the soundtrack and it's great.
