I've never used this system before so what time before the show starts should I get the tickets and do i get given an armband that allows me to go to the front of the que?

I really have no idea. so if any of you 10C veterans would like to expalin how the 10C ticket system works to me it would be much appreciated.

i suppose u have philly tickets,so u must receive a mail from 10c of what time and where is the box office in spectrum ,for receive your ticket,u must have your id or passport for take them.u can take them after the box office opens when ever u like..

  • Yeah, Dimitris is right.

You buy the tickets online then a couple of days before the show Tenclub will email you and let you know about early entry and/or which box office/where to get your ticket from. You then take your ID (passport, drivers license etc, must have photo) to collect your wristband and ticket and then just enjoy the show! :D

Tickets are normally available form the Tenclub pick up point quite early so you can queue all day to get to the front if you're of that pursuation and standing applies...

I've only got Euro tickets in the past so i'm just giving you my experience. I'm assuming the standing-ness won't apply to you :)
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

Yup, probably not, so basically you can get there anytime you want and pick up your tickets - it has absolutely no influence on where in the venue you will end up (as the seats are pre-allocated and the tickets are in an envelope with your name / 10c number on it).

    Enjoy the show(s)!

Yeah it depends on whether you are talking for the US shows (seating) or the upcoming shows in Australia (standing).

US shows pre-allocated seats so show up whenever you want after the box office opens to collect tickets

Aussie shows you will be given a wristband and let in 15 minutes early ... but you may want to queue earlier to be at the front on the 10c people.

    Enjoy!
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

In SD it was really weird. We got tickets early but when we came back there were 3 lines. A-J, K-P,Q-Z (or something like that). Well the first two lines were empty and the Q-Z was like a mile long. So either A-P people picked up their tickets really early or there was 5000 Smiths going to the show.

Actually, in SD the lines we A-E, F-L and M-Z...so the third line was half the alphabet! That's why the third line was so long.

ending their 6 year drought of not getting 10C tix & being thrown in the public masses

the process was wayyyyy different then
  • Hey, guys thanks heaps for the posts, it does give me alot of reasurance in the 10C process. In going to the Auckland Gig so will be standing but should be awesome anyways (especially due to the early entry!).

Cheers for the posts and did I mention that the concert is the day after my last NCEA exam! I probably couldn't think of a better way to end my high school career :D
