This is my game, my rules and here's how it's going to be... I am going to state my opinion and then everyone is going to respond, YES, I agree, TOTALLY!!! ;)

I am calling the higher powers for a DUET, covering the Johnny Cash/June Carter song, "Jackson". Obviously, the king of the universe, Eddie V. is going to sing Johnny's role.

Question is, WHICH female artist would best compliment the greatest front man in the history of Rock & Roll?

I think it'd be kind of fun and even though I'm not a huge fan, to have Gwen Stefani opposite.

What do YOU think? Love the minds in this forum so feel free to elaborate :)

    Alison Krauss. She sounds awesome with Robert Plant so I'm sure she and Ed could pull off something nice.

    I also like the suggestion of Eliza Jane Barnes. Love her voice!

    Johnny is the man... I always liked the lady from Drive By Truckers (Shonna Tucker)... or Alison Krauss.. But he did sound pretty damn good w/ Corin Tucker on "Golden State"

    slow that song down, rearrange it a tad...minor chords for sure, make it super dark and let chan marshall sing june's parts.
