Thats the 'left" coast for ya :?. Nothing like rooting for the subway series in 2000. Or imagine what Chicago would be like if they had their 2 teams still in it, although we'll be dead before the Cubbies return ;) .

As a Rangers fan I cannot root for the Angels. But I do respect what that organization has been able to accomplish over the last several years.

So with no dog in this hunt at all I will pull for the Dodgers since that is my son's little league team.

  • I love this crap! Dodgers are in trouble after yesterday. Phillies pretty much owned that spectacular Dodger pitching! I was at a bar and I felt like I was at a funeral watching all the Dodger fans watch their season slip away.....

How can you possibly want a freeway series? Thats bad news for baseball. I believe the lowest rated World Series was the Mets-Yankees in 2000. After that was the Giants-Angels in 2002. If the teams are from the same state, no one else other than the people in that state give a crap.

Yes, I am a SF Giants Fan! See you at the winter meetings,

    Sincerely,

    Your local LA Dodger hater!

when dodgers fans watch the game in a bar out there do they show up to the bar in the fourth inning and leave in the seventh? that crowd is so weak that it's sad

Its funny you mention that! The bar crowd did show up during various innings between the 3rd and 6th and most of them had cleared out by 7th.

This isn't about either TEAM. It's about the rabid nature of the Easterners vs. the so-called "fans" in SoCal.  :shh: :shh:

    ... and?

This isn't football, they didn't need to game plan. Good for them for seeing Springsteen.
