Anyone remember if Ticketmaster dropped anything in the days before Ed's west coast shows?

I was able to get 3rd row directly on the side of Mike (better than any 10c seat ive had) on TM the day before the Pittsburgh show in 06.

My friends are dying to see Ed in NYC and I was only able to get a pair of tickets, and I dont want to spend $200+ if I dont need to.

I noticed on the broker websites that no one had tickets for the lower loge section in NYC. They're probably going to drop them.

There were some painful drops on the day of the gigs at each of the box offices. It was hot, lines were long and tickets were released one at a time. This was the case in Santa Barbara and LA

that's why I don't understand why people here drop big dollars on shows from scalpers, ticket agencies, etc...

Some people are will to pay a little bit more for a sense of security, I guess. In LA, I decided to go the StubHub route in order to ensure I'd be able to see one show. Then, I thought I'd try the "ticket drop" route for LA2.

    Didn't work.

To go the ticket drop route, you have to be a little lucky.

Exactly - it is a little hard to run on faith for a ticket drop when you are traveling across the continent to see em'...its all relative, but an extra $150 is worth it to guarantee you access to the building - at least that was the case for me in April when I was forced to stub hub it for LA2. Didn't regret it either, tix weren't exactly plentiful on the sidewalk that night.
