After two brilliant weeks in the US of A, my time has come to return to the land of the sun and the sea...
I have met some brilliant people (10c people in LA and plenty of random others), seen and done some awesome things (LA3, LA4, Springsteen close Giants, Taping of the Daily Show with Jon Stewart - legend, Magic Mountain LA), visited some great places (Los Angeles, Valencia, Manhattan - I now have two massive blisters), seen some forgettable or sad things (KISS, indifference to homeless in NYC, Fox News Douchebags), helped some people (homeless in NYC, other tourists), been helped by people (Thanks Eric in LA and also Eric in NYC and anyone else), eaten some great food (HENG thai in NYC - 752 10th ave - awesome - you have to visit them), drunk some great beer (Strauss - sensational). I squeezed a lot into two weeks and want to thank you all. Hopefully I can meet more of you and do more things next time.

Will keep an eye open for the Perth review.
I now know why Pearl Jam now prefer min-tours, being back home with my girlfriend and kids is brilliant. The welcome home hugs and kisses are equal to the best live show, the best drug, the best of times. Being on the road for months or even years must almost kill the guys now they have families.
How it pains to leave you here
With the kids on your own

Makes perfect sense as many parents have already discussed on this board.
