    Oh Jeez ... I forgot how amazing A.I.C. were live ... and Layne smiled often.I first saw them way back early 90's ... I went to see Megadeth :oops: :o :? ... with my boyfriend.We fell out and I decided to go find my seat and left him in the bar.
    There were three support's playing and A.I.C. were the first on.There were about 100 people in the hall when they came on,they immedaitely blew me out my seat.15 minutes into their set the place was packed.Word got round pretty fast to go into the hall and check this band out.
    They remain one of the best supporting bands I ever saw.I searched for Facelift the following day but it hadn't been released in uk.I ended up getting it on import.
    They are a great great band and yes I saw Layne smile often live.

    I personally just never saw him smile like that on stage....I've seen footage of the band joking around alot and being silly, its just in that video he seemed truly happy with that outrageous crowd!

    Oh yeah you can totally feel the whole band are just getting of on such a wild crowd.Amazing .... Don't know about your experience .... but mines is I just don't witness crowds like that anymore.Just so so up for it all.Now I find it's all about drinking and talking during a gig. :evil: :evil:

    I guess the last time I witnessed a crowd like that was the last time P.J played in Scotland ..... 3rd June 2000 ... yes you read that right 3RD JUNE 2000 :evil: :evil: :evil:

    I think its an American thing...That crowd from the video was in Rio... European and south American crowds are much more energetic! it might have something to do with the GA seats....
