I just purchased Seattle 9/21/09. It has a great set list, but the sound isn't that great (can barely hear the strings and horns towards the end) and the band seems to be a bit sloppy & sluggish.

Anyone know of a better sounding performance from this tour?

LA2 sounds amazing and the performance that night was stellar. I wouldn't hesitate to get that one, even though the setlist may not be quite as attractive as some of the others.

Hit the nail on the head. Went to all four nights at the Gibson and planned on downloading each show for their own merits. Night 2 was a good show but I was looking forward to getting the boot the least out of the four. Downloaded both shows so far and the Night 2 boot truly sounds amazing. Every song that was repeated from night 1 sounds tighter! Def a surprise and surely worth getting!

  • Both those shows sound fantastic. Not sure if they're getting better with the mix, or the great sound everyone talked about at the Gibson had anything to do with it, but both are two of the better sounding shows so far.

LA1 is worth it for Tremor Christ alone.

I have all of them in FLAC... you're right, LA 1 & 2 sound amazing!

The Sound at the Night 1 Seattle show so was below par (still a great show), you could not hear the strings well in the Key arena but Night 2 was allot better and Vancouver sound was amazing.

The Seattle shows do not sound too good, don´t know why.
However, the ones before Seattle do sound pretty good, the 2009 tour is generally better than 08 soundwise, I think.

Wow! I just looked at the set list for 10/6/9 -with Chris Cornell on 'Hunger Strike' and Jerry Cantrell on 'Alive'.
I am waiting to see if this becomes available soon. Seems like it must have been a great night.

I ordered LA1 on CD. I think I'll buy MP3s of any other shows I buy, though. I'm hoping the mic picked me up singing with Eddie, that would be the icing on the cake!

It was my first show and it was awesome!! Though SD was MUCH better.

I was wondering how long it takes to get the physical CD's from the time you order them? I would rather just buy the physical ones instead of just the mp3's, but I obviously cannot wait for the three shows' I went to boots.

I've received most of my Kufala orders within two days. They are VERY fast.

They're shipping from Paso Robles, CA so you should get them the next day. The longest I've had to wait was 3 days.

Downloaded SLC last night, and I love it. Sounds great to me. Matt's snare doesn't sound lifeless like it does on the 2008 boots...
