Is it just as loud behind the stage?

Just wondering, if i happen to score some tickets behind the stage in Philly.......is just a little weaker sound or still in your face? Cuz i prefer in your face

    I haven't been to a concert behind the stage, but I'm going to assume it sounds better than at home on your couch.

    the sound is fine !


    they have speaker columns facing the back of the stage. trust me sititng in the back of the stage is not horrible! do a search for behind stage seating...you will see what i mean

    I've been there for PJ behind the stage in Philly. Sounds good. Don't miss it.

    actually, I sat behind the stage for the first and second encore st SD.

    I was amazed at how much better the sound was overall.

    you'd also be amazed at how much they play to the back.

    also I got to watch matt cameron work which is truly amazing.

    I've sat behind the stage a few times, last time at MSG in '08. It's plenty loud, and you feel VERY close to the band. In general the fans sitting back there are pretty die hard as well. Good times.
