It was a BIG DAY!!!!!!!

    that's nice work on winning stuff :-) The only other things I've ever won were 2 tickets to the Fonda show in '06 from KROQ!!

    Me and my girl were in Reno for a weekend (no, not getting married) and we sat down at a bar an within 5 minutes, I got this, (dealt to me no less) ...

    I won (2) 4th row ZZ Top concert tickets one time. And, (2) lift tickets with charter bus tickets for a day of skiing for me and a friend, another time. This was all years ago from a local radio station.

    video poker is great and dangerous at the same time ... some of the best odds can be found playing video poker if you're playing optimal strategy ... but damn, you can really get drunk if you're doing it at the bar and not paying attention to how many drinks you've put down ... ooof.

    It's also the best way to get free drinks in the casino. The waitresses take waaaay too long.

    Years ago I tried winnings tix off the radio all the time. Here's some of the ones I remember winning: Korn(in the Korn cage on stage) with Rob Zombie, Everclear, 3EB (front row), Alanis Morrisette and Garbage, Hole and Marilyn Manson, plus many tailgating passes and tix to Duck football games.

    I won 30 tickets to an Eagles game, a party bus to the game and an open bar/private party at Chickies (a bar near the stadium) before the game a couple years ago. Was actually really cool. Too bad I am a Giants fan.
