Hotels need help

Hey i know this has been covered but looking for an affordable hotel in the philly area. I am not rich and will be staying 4 nights. If anyone can tell me any advice that would be great, and what hotels to avoid. Looking online now but so many to choose from. I see econolodge is that good? good area? Stuff like that, thanks in advance.

    Econo Lodge is economy...but your hardly going to be in the hotel anyway. I'm at The Raddisson for 3 nights but it is expensive!

    well just keep in mind that staying near the airport is not exactly close
    and avoid camden like the plague

    discount hotels?
    if you have a car and plenty of time to drive in and out
    check out mt. laurel NJ
    about 20 mins to the spectrum and there are a few hotels there that are much cheaper than center city
    if you dont have a car its a $40 cab ride each way, which probably negates any savings

    I will have my car, so I am staying at the Days Inn in Horsham.
    Its about 20-25 to the spectrum from there.
    Are you going solo? Im still looking for someone to share a room with.

    Yea every year I saw PJ in camden I stayed at a hotel in Cherry Hill. Clean area right off all the major highways I was thinking something like that. Its about 20 minutes out but RT 30 james up very bad during rush hour.

    i got into the crowne plaze for $60 which is 33% of the list price. not sure if you can still get something liek that, but it's well worth the little effort it takes.

    Windsor Suites about £100 a night after taxes but chose your agent carefully some charge alot more for the same room.
