Pearl Jam + Bonnaroo = Wow

Dear lovers of the Jam,

At this very moment I'm having the utmost pleasure in listening to the Bonnaroo boot and the Vedder of Darth as he shreds his vocal cords during a searing "Love Reign O'er Me", only launch right into validating man's arrogant earthly domination with "Do The Evolution".

A three hour set at Bonnaroo? Yes. Three beautiful hours of America's best, authentic, passionate and most visceral rock band showing their asses and their ferocity for what they do and sharing it with a sweaty sea of humanity in the name of love.

"Release", "Hard To Imagine", "Half Full", "Along The Watchtower", "All Night", "W.M.A" (first full version played since...1998?)...Pearl Jam dug deep. Went deep. Are deep. "Porch" was electric and "No More (War)" was the stuff that aches the heart. Cameron's drums rolled, McCready ripped, Gossard is a rhythm master and Ament is a punk rocker with a bass in his hands.

Three hours. Jesus. I wasn't even there and I'm thankful because this bootleg is, for lack of better wording, the shit.

No worries both MSG's should make it up, along with 3 New England shows. :)
