Backup Software - Recommendations?

I was recently hit with spy-ware, and my machine crashed. I lost some software, and stuff which kind of sucked. I have an external hard drive which I manually( :x ) backup my stuff too. There was some music, and pictures on my C drive that I hadn't yet backed up yet. I thought it was lost, but after vigorous searching, and consulting the copmany that repaired it for free because of my warranty, I found the picures and music. Thank God.
Now, in hopes of avoiding any possibility of this happening in the future, and with more severity I want to invest in backup software, that way I don't get lazy and put if off...
Anybody have a software they love, like? Anyone know of one that they'd like to recommend?
