    Gotta be honest and say all the versions posted here are an improvement on my OP, still love it though. Not keen on The Drones vocals, but the music is cool. Can't get Cortez out of my head at the moment, such an awesome song. Im gonna have a youtube evening tonight with a few beers, can anyone recommend the ultimate NY version on the tube?

    ouch this wounds me. the drones are my favourite active band. but i agree gareth does sound like hes strangling a cat at times. he also has a habit of shoving a whole lot of words into a 'too small' space. but the man does have a way with words(his own not others)... and jeez i love this band live. :mrgreen:
