How does mp3 player recognize album art?

Player doesnt recognize the art.

Is there a step i am missing?

    Bump, I have the same problem for my ipod but haven't stopped listening to the album to try and change it :)
    Small my table, seats just 3, its not crowded, its just lucky me

    in itunes on your computer...

    click "advanced" on the top bar, go down and click "get album artwork"

    these are instructions for itunes on a mac (im sure its the same for windows), just be sure you are connected to the internet! after u do what is said above, just sync your ipod with your computer

    Correct. And you can also click on file in iTunes then "Get Info" for individual songs or albums and then drag and drop artwork from any where on the web in the album artwork square. I did this with the tour posters for each bootleg I own. It looks really cool in "Cover Flow" seeing the concert posters whizzing by as you scroll through.

    I would have never figured it out on my own.

    From the time I got my first ipod, for some reason, apple logic confuses my brain>

    For me, it goes in to many circles.
