Anyone tried Priceline? I'm sure there is a thread about it somewhere but I couldn't find it.

I'm wondering the best route from the airport to the venue. I don't want to have to rent a car and I can't get any of the PDF maps to work on Philly's transportation website.

The info from everyone was very helpful. ChmpgneBreakfst4Evry1 info seems to be the easiest:

You can catch a train to center city by taking the R1 regional rail from the airport. Your best bet is to book a hotel in center city, look for hotels near suburban station as the subaway and regional rail both stop here making it an easy trip. The subway is the orange line (Broad Street Line) which you take south bound to the last stop. Spectrum is 20 steps away.

When you can finally pull up that pdf map you'll be able to see how easy it is.
