Everyone Read Esp NY PJ Fans!!!!

So last night i went to MSG to see the foo fighters show. What a great show they are an amazing live act but all it did was just make me want to see pearl jam 1000 times more!!!! forget a new album forget eddie vedder solo tours forget festivals just play MSG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    allready seen them at MSG... twice. I even have a dvd. I want a Giants Stadium show. I want to see them play there one time.

    Giant Stadium sucks for concerts... there is NO intimacy for a show there.. i have seen MANY shows there and i see them only because i have to not because the accoustics are good or the venue is nice... its the only place the band is playing... otherwise... its aweful.

    I was there last night and during a quiet point a guy a couple rows behnd me yelled "play green disease" I turned and saw a guy in a Moonlightgraham pJ hoodie. I gave him a thumbs up.

    they played part of that concert afterwards on FUSE last night. i watched to see if i could find someone i know. i wasn't that impressed with the Foos. Dave just screams all the time now and they play a bunch of hits. love the band still, but they're total arena rock now.

    I saw them down in Nashville about a month ago. Solid show, but not close to pearl jam. Feels more staged to me.

    Dude, I agree with you 100%!! In fact, the first thing I did this morning was write my review of last night's Foos show saying the exact same thing!

    I was actually thinking how the fuck do i not know more of their songs or own an album of the foo fighters. these guys bring the rock. that being said, it did make miss the pearl jam experience a little.

    I was also there and comparing FF to PJ, or more to the point, Dave G to Ed. I couldn't figure out why Dave thought he had to keep screaming and waving his arms around like a maniac. He was just trying too hard. And it wasn't even necessary -- FF have a lot of good songs. But I couldn't help thinking, Ed would never do that. He just has that intensity and magnetism that hold people's attention. He doesn't need to scream every 10 seconds.

    I'm glad I went, though. It made me appreciate PJ even more.

    I like Dave's energy, it kind of goes with a lot of the riffs from his guitarists.

    I thought it was a good show, but def want PJ back there. They just killed the place in 03.
