They were good, but I've never been a huge Dead fan.
They were playing at the Music Box in HOllywood.
Just curious what the forum thinks about them.

For a cover band they are great and are VERY good at what they do,re-creating full Grateful Dead shows, even going as far as stage placement of the members during that period.
But then again.,..they are just a cover band, and on that same note....so was the Grateful Dead to a degree.

2. Bob Weir & Ratdog
3. Pearl Jam
I'm only 23 years old, so I never really got to experience The Grateful Dead - with Jerry.
I love Dead music, and Bobby Weir blows my mind with what he does on guitar sometimes.
Dark Star gives that sound, feeling, emotion and all that stuff that the Grateful Dead brought to their fans back in the day. The feeling of hearing Grateful Dead music being played live and fresh is great to me. DSO does it in its purest form.
And fake Bobby does look a hell of a lot like real Bobby.
So why be satisfied?
