    I'd like to think I am fairly intelligent :eh: but I just can't wrap my head around what that verse REALLY means...I would argue you'd be EVERYONE's rival if you were sharing their dreams...

    Hey I think those lines are the best of the album and one reason is that they are so open to interpretation. My interpretation (not just mine I'm sure others have thought this too) is that if you dream the dreams of another person you can began to understand other people's perception and what drive's someone. It humanizes and personalizes everyone. These lines are so communal. If you can take someone else's dreams and make them yours even for a moment or two you can appreciate anothers drive especially if you are in competition. If you understand, appreciate and believe in yourself then no one can beat you especially after, and excuse the cliche, you have walked in someone else's shoes.

    to me. and just me... it seems that if you dream what others think you ain't gonna be that much, but if you if like your "rivals" think you are gonna be a superstar.. i was thinking in the world of business, but i guess this xan work anywhere. it works for me since i have my own biz. i have to think what my rivals are thinkin then think one step ahead. a lesson to be learned.
