Where to Hang Out and Get a Beer by Viejas Arena Tonight

Just an FYI regarding a couple of places near Viejas Arena this evening. I highly encourage everyone to attend the fundraiser at McGregor's in Mission Valley: http://forums.pearljam.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=104163

For people heading to the venue early to pick up 10c tickets or merch, or locals like me that will be driving directly, there are two walking-distance options for getting a beer before the show. The closest is Louie's Pub, in Aztec Center on the SDSU campus. From Viejas Arena, walk directly East on the walkway towards campus. Aztec Center will be on the left. The Louie's Pub beer bar is on the back-right of the food pavilion. It isn't much in the way of atmosphere, but it's draft beer and it's close.



The other option is 4.0 Deli. This is a popular student hangout with great sandwiches. It can get crowded on a Friday, but if you can squeeze in, they have draft beer and it's a cool little spot. 4.0 Deli is just East of the McDonald's on Montezuma road. I'm headed here first but if it's too packed will go to Louie's.
