WHY...

Have they not played "Speed of Sound" yet live? I pulled out my pocket PJ calculator, did a little math and came to the conclusion they would play it at least once in LA. Nope.

This could be the wrong place, but I'm also looking for a girlfriend who won't mind that frame and hang all of my PJ prints, AND who likes Mexican food. I saw so many cute girls at the concert singing along to all of the songs with their boyfriends, and I'm thinking, they probably like tacos, enchiladas, and guacamole too. Why are those guys so lucky?

And if I hear, "it's either me or your PJ posters!" one more time I'm not sure what I'll do. The posters are here to stay, sweetie.

IMO - Night FOUR in LA was the best! All those yesterdays, live?? Wow! Untitled/Unthought known? Holy crap. Unthought Known will knock your socks of live. Pure freaking magic!

    My girlfriend loves our trips to see Pearl Jam (Seattle and Munich) ... she loves my posters and has even bought me some as gifts. Her parents own a Mexican restaraunt.

    I'm the luckiest guy in patrickcarson's world.

    I know this patrick carson. He's a good man. You all would do well to set him up with your crazy sisters, ex-girlfriends, and part-time receptionists.

    I would have liked to hear Speed of Sound live too - would have been cool to hear it roughed up a bit, you know? The same way they occasionally do Parachutes (see: San Diego)...

    Incidentally, I have never been the hugest fan of Sometimes, until I heard it as the opener for LA3 - I know a lot of people on this board have slagged off Speed of Sound, but I bet hearing it live would get a few more people stoked on it!

    To the OP, I was dancing and singing at the LA shows and SD...I LOVE Mexican food...in fact, my mom's family makes the best salsa and tortillas...and I have my nana's recipe for the most fantastic enchiladas. I would love to see some walls decorated with PJ posters!

    Unfortunately, Speed of Sound is the only song from Backspacer that I don't like...so I guess this wouldn't work out! :lol:

    I already tried the PJ dating site and all the girls just weren't that into me BUT I don't think I mentioned that I had 7 totally awesome posters matted and framed. You think it'd be like fishing with dynamite when I walk into a room with my PJ Yield shirt, right? Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

    It's okay - I'm hoping to organically meet someone who loves Pearl Jam as much as I do. I'm expecting her to knock on my apartment door any second now, after all, don't beautiful women who love PJ have that gps homing device internally programmed in their souls?

    Speed of Sound is the worst song in that album. It's so sad because it had so much potential. Then they just went ahead and fucked it all up with drums and shit.

    And for your other plea, there is a Pearl Jam dating service thread here somewhere.
