More XLs and 2XLs, enough of the Mediums and Smalls

It sucks that all the Large and XLs get bought up so quickly. Most people have huge frames these days. It's bad enough that an XL will eventually become a Medium after a few wears.

I've been to the shows. I've seen what the average Pearl Jam fan looks like.. gotta stop spending so much time at this board and sitting at a computer and maybe in a few months this won't be a problem.. just sayin'.

and that's a friendly laugh. i dig the irony, i'm not trying to be a jerk. i get what you're saying, but like i said earlier, i can't help it if i'm 6'3"... not overweight (well, not drastically), just tall.Mesa 11/7/93 - Charlotte 10/4/96 - DC 6/14/98 - Raleigh 8/31/98 - Knoxville 9/6/98 - Columbia MD 9/18/98 - DC 9/19/98 - Columbia MD 9/4/00 - Phoenix 10/21/00 - Raleigh 4/15/03 - Phoenix 6/7/03 - Philadelphia 5/27&28/06 - DC 5/30/06 - Las Vegas 7/6/06 - San Diego 7/7/06 - LA 7/9&10/06 - Gorge 7/22&23/06 - Chicago 8/5/07 - PJ20 9/3&4/11 - Jacksonville 11/24/12 (EV) - Orlando 11/27/12 (EV) - Brooklyn 10/18&19/13 - Charlotte 10/30/13 - Memphis 10/14/14 - Ft Lauderdale 4/8/16 - Miami 4/9/16 - Jacksonville 4/13/16 - Hampton 4/18/16 - Chicago 8/20&22/160 -
I hear ya.. I'm barely 5'11" and 165.. medium fits perfect fortunately. I can see a lot of people being an L and XL.. when you start to get into the 2XL and 3XL range, unless you're really tall, you really have no room to be complaining.FLdrummerboy wrote:LikeAnOcean wrote:I've been to the shows. I know im in the minority but i support the size smalls...Im a guys who like to wear more form fitting stuff, and only 5'11, so i do appreciate them making sure they carry small0

The shirts this year were pretty big though.bigbadbill wrote:It sucks that all the Large and XLs get bought up so quickly. Most people have huge frames these days. It's bad enough that an XL will eventually become a Medium after a few wears.
I got an XL and it's pretty big, should have went with the large. I think the size run was probably appropriate seeing that every show sold out of them.NERDS!0 -
Medium 4 life. There are enough of you giant dudes, vertically and horizontally, on the rail!0

First off congrats on resurrecting a 16 yr old thread.RT228921 said:Medium 4 life. There are enough of you giant dudes, vertically and horizontally, on the rail!
Second thanks for doing so the posts were entertaining.
Third, as a small and sometimes medium, depending on manufacturer, I am glad that the PJ fanbase tends to skew larger so that I can easily get my size at shows and during mystery bag/box sales.0 -
I did the opposite. I'm 6'2, and I shrunk, so I went from being an XL to a L. Large's also seem to sell out quickly in many things ;(0
