Shit for $5 you could get a shit load (no pun intended) of food. They used to have the .59 .79 .99 menus! Anybody remember those menus?? You believe last time I went out west it was still there! And the jack in the box couple miles down too! Fucken memories....
I put an embargo from about 2008 to 2013 on my Taco Bell because they would fuck my order up 9/10 times. In 2014, they somehow hired a competent staff I lifted the embargo until about last December when they went back to their old ways.
It's for the better. YUM! brands owns Taco Bell and YUM! puts so much filler and god knows what that I can't eat at any of the brands it owns or I have to spend the next day within a 100 foot radius of a toilet. Especially Pizza Hut. I had to stop eating that crap completely, although I will stop and get the occasional Doritos Taco as long as it is from out of town.
They still have the fire sauce but the Diablo is even hotter

As for my favorite item... currently it's the Smothered (chicken) Burrito. The standby is a regular crunchy taco. It used to be the Baja Beef Gordita until they got rid of the Baja sauce. God damn Americans and their lovefest for ranch. Spicy ranch is no substitute for Baja sauce! Period. Exclamation point. Fuck ranch!
