Horrorcore and the Farmville Killings

Man I've been reading a whole lot about this lately. Every blog..every news article..seems like people have their opinions on this subject and a lot of Horrorcore fans are upset that their genre is being targeted. I for one think this type of music is useless to society and I cant for the life of me figure out why anyone would want to listen to it...but thats just me. My heart goes out to those families that lost their loved ones but I have to think to myself...what kind of parents would allow this shit into their home? So what are your thoughts on this whole situation?

    I feel sad for that family. I've seen bits and pieces of that story. I beleive I read that the accused took a long cab ride to the Richmond airport and that he was talking like he was going to get back with his girlfriend......after he killed her. Just awful.

    As for the "genre" of that "music"....well, I guess all 3 people that listen to it are probably upset. Never even knew that there was something called "Horrorcore". Pretty stupid.
    I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

    Horrorcore? really? these sub-genres are getting ridiculous...
    Everybody's talking bout the new sound funny, but it's still rock n roll to me ;)
    Can someone suggest a horrorcore band for me to youtube?

    I know absolutely nothing about this case, but I feel comfortable saying the music wasn't to blame....

    the kind of parents who allow their children to make up their own minds?

    anyhoo it shits me whenever a music 'genre' is targeted as somehow perhaps being causal in killings. this manchild killed those people not cause of the music he was listening to but cause hes a sick fuck. and besides he apparently told a reporter jesus told him to do it so ... might i suggest feeding him to a snake... a really really big snake. ;)

    I dont think anyone is saying the music MADE him do it..I think what they are saying is that the lyrics he was writing as part of this genre were disturbing to the point of being alarming and everyone of these groups sing about the same things apparently (satan, murder, mutilation, rape, sacrific and cannibalism)

    it is bizarre... the dad was a pastor but he was ok with his 16 year old daughter flying in a psychopathic rapper from across the country to go to a satan festival several states away with a guy she never met? there is something very wrong with this whole thing.

    im fairly certain dad was unaware he was exposing his daughter to a psychopathic nutjob from california. youll probabaly find that this manchild ingratiated his way into the girls life, was the perfect gentlemen and then went a bit helter skelter. serial killers dont exactly walk around with a sign designating them serial killers either, now do they?? yet whenever one of them pops up and is caught, the neighbours, the family and the people that supposedly know him best the first thing that is said is.. oh my we had no idea he was always so quiet and polite.

    Yeah, but it is strange that a pastor father would even allow his daughter to listen to such music. I'm also inclined to think that he'd be a little more curious and done more detective work on who this strange kid from California was. Of course they don't wear a sign, but it's possible to notice a shady character.
