9 years since the Ice Bowl
Hard to believe it's been 9 years and harder to believe it's been over 6 years since they played Alpine. Setlist wise the show was nothing special, compared to 03 anyway, but still a memorable show. 28 degrees, damn it was cold.

Good times.
I hauled three or four other people to this show.
That day was absolutely gorgeous (sunny tee shirt and shorts weather) I don't know what the forecast was for that night, but I happened to have had a bunch of winter supplies in the boot. As the sun started going down I started putting on layers and asking the others if they wanted any. All but one politely refused. Needless to say, blasting the heater in the car was a top priority by shows end.
I remember being blown away by the band opening with "Of The Girl" (one of my favorites off of Binaural). I remember thinking "How odd that the band are playing in full jackets & hats and hey... they have heat blowers aimed at them."
I enjoyed the show immensely, but by the end of it was f-ing freezing in my own right. I looked around as I walked up the stairs and saw thousands of people in tee shirts. Not counting the breeze it was four degrees (F) below freezing. I'm pretty sure Supergrass were pretty glad they got off stage early.
