So far here tonight I have seen Sean Penn, Tom Morello, Jerry Cantrell, Laura Dern, Sasha Baron Cohen and Mike McCready... Who signed last nights setlist for me :)

    Cool. I met McCready in LA one time at an Ed solo gig he played with Beck and Mike Ness. McCready is so nice.

    Sean Penn was two seats behind me.

    I didn't say hello as I respect his privacy (I'd have gladly accepted the punch in the face - it would have been a good story to tell) but I really wanted to thank him for Dead Man Walking.

    i've never seen any at a show i've been to, but have read later about them being there, and they are always in good seats, but you bet, PLENTY of 10clubbers ahed of em. that is as it should be, but just have to acknowledge it. pj rocks.

    It gets better - my number is 360xxx and I was in front of him. It was an honour to be so close to a brilliant artist i respect as much as I respect pearl jam. I didn't need the pic or the hand shake - I won't lie, they would have been nice, but to live and let live was better still.

    and as to the celeb, i agree. i've seen quite a few over the years but i have never approached any, i just don't see the point in intruding on their lives. now for pj, perhaps i may have to make an exception :D...but i guess it would all depend on the circumstance.

    in any case, very cool story and yet just another reason to love this band/10c. anyone who doubts they put their fans FIRST should realize they truly do.
    (besides you know penn and whomever else, gets to party with the band in any case, so whatever....they don't need to take the great seats away from fans)
