( OIIIIO ) It's about being able to go where most can't - Forget it, It's a Jeep thing!
  • It was very nice to see Mike McFuckenCready (as Ed called him at LA3) do Star Spangled Banner to close LA2! :D

  • PJ_Kidd,

I have a daughter who is almost three...I am praying to all that is righteous and holy in this world that Pearl Jam is still touring when she is old enough to take to a show (8 or 9?)...and hopefully she will like the music...seeing a 16 year old that appreciates great music like yourself gives all of us parents hope--I can only hope that you can share the amazing music of Pearl Jam with your parents--even though associating with parents when you're 16 is the last thing you may want to do.

If they love the music and turned you on to it...and they support you...then love the music with them...it makes it that much better, especially when you're older. :D

I saw at least 4 parents with their offspring (terrible band, mind you) at LA1&2 and it was an awesome sight!

It's because they have access to a string quartet in LA & Ben Harper is on tour w/ them... Really wish they'd do parting ways and find another song to play w/ Ben though.

  • PJ_Kidd,

Im glad you thought going to Seattle2 with your dad was cool! Like I said, give the rest of us parents hope!

My daughter's not gonna have to worry that it had been 10 or 15 years since I've seen Pearl Jam when I take her...instead, she's gonna think her dad is a dork for catching 4 or 5 shows every tour...and I will settle for that kind of dork-dom forever.

I saw on your profile you play bass? Are you in a band? Is Ament or Entwistle or Les Claypool your hero?
