That Soundgarden may play tonight...

I had the pleasure of catching them in early 1997, about 3 months before the split.

Apparently Kim and Ben are in LA...

What do you think?

Personally... No.

Edit: Disclaimer.... These ARE ONLY rumors... and i have NO idea if it's true... just going with speculation i've seen on the boards today..

    Personally... No.

    yeah rolling stone reported today that last night all of them were at the show, first time all of them have been together in years. I would think a reunion is in the works, but not for tonight for next year

    I already had a thread going in the "Other Music" section on here . I`ll just repost it here.



    I find it interesting that not only was Chris Cornell at the LA 3 show last night
    but so was Kim Thayil and Ben Shephard. The 3 Soundgarden members were there to see Pear Jam rock out and to see their former drummer Matt Cameron. Is there something brewing here?

    I'd think if they were to play something they'd probably end up playing Spoon Man b/c that song has ties to Jeff (if my memory isn't whacked)... although I'd love to see them do something else since that's one of the songs I'm not a huge fan of...

    if soundgarden got back together that would be cool, but I'd still be more excited about seeing Pearl Jam personally. Soundgarden was a good band, but not a great band in my opinion.
