I love when people hype up a show or say a show is going to be terrible because of where they're playing and then it's the complete opposite.
    Shows: 6.27.08 Hartford, CT/5.15.10 Hartford, CT/6.18.2011 Hartford, CT (EV Solo)/10.19.13 Brooklyn/10.25.13 Hartford

Well based on the incredible level of hype, if you're right then these are going to be the most absolutely horrendous shows in the history of Pearl Jam, or in the entire history of man for that matter, LOL! :D

There was a blurb in the Inquirer about the Spectrum's farewell tour. How it's along the lines of a Barbra Streisand farewell tour. One guy said he thought the farewell tour was longer than the Spectrum was actually in use. Foo Fighters played a farewell show there in February. Flyers last game there was in 1996. Concerts at the Spectrum are pretty awesome, I have to say - can't wait for 10/27!!!

    actually
I think they would have skipped the east coast entirely if they didnt have love for the spectrum and philly
so in a way, us east coasters are lucky, cause if the spectrum wasnt closing, they probably would have skipped it

You're lucky I can take sarcasm. I mean, I'm a sarcastic guy, so I know when it's being used. I just said that because people last year were down right saying Hartford would be terrible and then look what happened? They blew the roof off the theater part of it and it was a show to remember.

That's exactly why I wrote that. I live in Waterbury and that's about 30-45 minutes away from Hartford. I was reading the boards and people were saying Hartford was going to be awful. It didn't seem awful to me. It was definitely the best show of the tour last year, IMO of course. Also, it was my first show and first PJ show so I was extremely happy to be going.
