When did Stone become the coolest muthafucka in the band? i guess since he grew his hair out. he's been crazy on stage lately. last night you would think he was lead guitarist.

i dont think i'm imagining it.

    I thnk it's the hamburglar shirt that's doing it. It makes him feel real free.

    I really do think it's the hair.

    Now that he's got something to whip around, he does.

    I remember from 2000-2003, the dude was about as mobile as a stop sign.

    haha they all have had so much energy i remember in seattle 2 when we were in the side section on mikes side he was so fun to watch cuz he was jumping around the whole show

    I have heard from a few friends that live in the States and have been to PJ shows on this tour, that Stone has been going CRAZY on stage.. TRUST me that is an AWESOME thing to hear..especially cause Stone is THE MAN!!!

    I Seriously CANNOT wait for for the shows down this way in November... to check it out for myself!! :mrgreen:

    I mean I have been to a number of PJ shows but have never seen Stone rockin out as hard as he is now!!!

    I worry about Stone too. I hope the band tours with a masseuse and a chiropractor....he is going to need them.

    Maybe just what I've observed, but has Stone been more rockin, runnin around on stage, as "involved" w/ these live shows in any way since the early 90s?? Seriously...since I've been hittin shows in '98 I've rarely seen him move outside his stage right spot w/ some exceptions. He seems to be getting into this tour more than so many before.

    At ACL people near me were askin who the cool "lead guitarist" was......too funny. Mike was incredible as well. Maybe more subtle. WOW

    I was on Stone's side for both Seattle shows and he was great to watch. Stoney G is totally the man!!!

    I would guess a lot of that has to do with the amount of performing Stone's been doing on his own over the past year. All the guys have been keeping busy playing their own music and I think we're really seeing the fruits of that in their current stage shows. In a way they've been warming up for these concerts all year.

    1st noticed it myself on the Conan show during Got Some - 1st noticed the rockin - 2nd noticed the hair - If you go back and watch the earlier concert footages he is rockin steady - great to see him back in motion - Stone is the one with the great quote

    I hope he keeps it up!!! and i am LOVING his longer hair so i hope to god he doesn't cut it! :lol: As for the glasses, I actually prefer him with them on.. but i would most likely say that he wears contacts when he's doing the shows!!

    Stone has always been a cool muthafucka - he's just a quiet workhorse a lot of the time. it's so awesome to see him unleash lately - cannot wait to witness his madass form in adelaide in november! i still haven't washed my right hand since i shook his hand a few years ago at a brad concert. my hand has gotten quite smelly and there's some funky-ass mould action going on, but i still can't bring myself to do anything about it...
