not sure if this is the right place....

I've noticed that stickers I purchase in the goods section fade rapidly and peel very quickly too. Especially those with red ink. Do they use a special eco dye that doesn't last as long or something? I know they're only a dollar a pop but I think the quality has gone down. :(
oh Ed! what big vinyl you have!

i really want them to bring back those proper car stickers. back when i first joined the VHC (as it was known then) i got the VHC starter kit which came with those car stickers that you soak in water and then apply from inside the car. no water damage to those bad boys. still have my red mosquito sticker on the back of my car, where the others added since have all fucked out (riot act king skull lost all the pointy bits to his crown... the tiger is rapidly dying... the 10c evolution hands have lost all their red..)

so the stickers they sell now don't apply to the inside of the car?

    none do.
there have been more than a few threads about the quality of the stickers, ad the lack of car decals.
i have found the bandwagon sticker is the only one with real longevity on a car, but again, it gets stuck on the outside. alas, mine had a bad incident with an ice scraper and is no longer. someone here linked me up with unoffical pj car decals and i got a gorgeous silver decal of 'pearl jam' in the same font as on the gorge boxset.....and i LOVe it. one on my car, one on hubby's. still, it is an outside decal, i really would like one inside the glass!

bottomline, ALL the stickers 10c sell are stickers, not car window decals, thus...the fading.

Put them on your speakers or cd rack, they may get a bit dusty & it even makes the music sound better. I put a skull sticker on my car & it didn't last. Wish they would put some new ones out with Backspacer. What are they like when you get them from shows, anyone?

yea, they adorn my guitar case but i would love an inside car window sticker. fellow PJ addicts should be able to easily identify one another on the road....
