You got it!! Here's a pic of my wife's feet/legs at the start of Day 3....it was much worse at the end!!
Hehehehehehehe...........
Ya know....
Ya just got to make the best of the situation....
I went to the Kentucky Derby one year.....Where it rained all fucking day and night.....But we sat in the infield and had a fucking ball.....Watching people slip and fall in the mud all day is a good time (as long as nobody is breaking an arm or a leg).....I saw ladies in $1000.00 dresses and $500 bonnets on their head.....Slip and fall in the mud...And I mean they were fucking COVERED in mud....hehehehehe
But what are you going to do??? Just laugh and make the best of it....
Take me piece by piece..... Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
But what are you going to do??? Just laugh and make the best of it....

the band should look at this thread and realize that they should probably head south more often...heart attacks, twisted ankles...covered in mud...devotion doesn't begin to describe pearl jam fans!!

Especially when they learn that the mud was actually a compost of grass clippings and treated sewage.
That's right people, we were standing in a lake of poo for Pearl Jam! Now you know what that smell was.

i got a really bad sprain MSG 2 2008, doctor said a sprain hurts worse than a break (idk as i've never broken any bones...*knocks wood*) i just know it was KILLER.

Wow man I don't know what to say about that! That's just amazing to me.
P.S. I thought Unthought Known was incredible.....
Those are GREAT pics.
I'm not sure you can really appreciate how weird all that mud was if you weren't there in it. Just trying to get over to the porta-potties or to get a drink without falling down, and the SMELL! I didn't roam around like I usually do. But there still seemed to be people walking around with no problem, I don't know how. :? Sorry I didn't get to meet a lot of people but it was still a great time!

Yes, same here. I was really looking forward to meeting a lot of you guys and I'm bummed that I didn't
Sorry you had such a rough time of it MFC and Flagg. But glad you made it through. I was 3 back from the stage for about 6 hours and finally had to get out of the right-up-front crowd when my sciatica caused my right leg and foot to go numb. I was afraid I wouldn't make it back to my car - I was parked about 3/4 of a mile away. Guess I'm getting to old to hang with the youngins right in front of the stage.
Anyone else think the Dodos were great musicians? I'm going to get one of their CDs.
